When Santiago Tome came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Tome couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Igon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Arturo Acevedo from a close distance when the talented Alfonso Igon managed to make a qualified save. Encarale a la gordita's players were relieved. The Encarale a la gordita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Igon should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Rodolfo Rito got a free kick in the 34th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Alfonso Igon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Lucas Etxeberri got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Isidoro Godoy rounded Encarale a la gordita's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Arnaldo Theodore got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Saturnino Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Tome, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Lekubegi in the 60th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Bruno Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Isidoro Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Godoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Rodolfo Rito got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Isidoro Godoy took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Igon. Alfonso Igon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Angelo Telmo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alfonso Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Acevedo in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Genaro Gartxot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Balendin, 5-1. There was no doubt that SOUTH THUNDER were the better team. SOUTH THUNDER's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
