In the 3rd minute, Zacarias Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan got control of the ball when Alfonso Frederik tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Cleto Mendebal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Gaitan, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Catarinense F.C.'s zone, Alejo Loi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Gaitan came out of the goal and Alejo Loi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's Daniel Buinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Cortez in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Alfonso Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Henry in the 22nd minute of play forced 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's goalkeeper Daniel Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catarinense F.C.'s Faustino Izel got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Marin. After 30 played minutes Catarinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Perutxo. Romeo Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Catarinense F.C.'s Romeo Osorio got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Ceferino Marin lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s Abelardo Lauaxeta got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Benicio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Marin in the 52nd minute of the match. Tadeo Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Teofilo Hori was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Hori in the 58th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Godfredo Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Catarinense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Gabon couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Tadeo Abilio put in a rough tackle. 64 minutes into the game, one of Catarinense F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976. Teofilo Hori stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benicio Gaitan. 3-0. In the 70th minute Faustino Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Alfonso Frederik made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 81st minute, Alejo Loi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Marin during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benicio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Loi in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Lauaxeta got free with Daniel Buinton in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benicio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Aquilino Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 had won after a very even match.
