TALLERES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 13 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Loi. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERES's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ciceron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 played minutes, Club Atletico Los Andes's Gilberto Munio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ubaldo Ciceron came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Los Andes reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Los Andes's Nereo Tohias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ubaldo Ciceron. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Teodosio Urre charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Urre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the game, one of Club Atletico Los Andes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 21 minutes into the match, Constantino Jakobe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Garaona. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Jakobe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Nunez Sustrai got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in TALLERES's zone, Nereo Tohias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Ciceron came out of the goal and Nereo Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A well placed Teodosio Guillen short distance shot in the 32nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After 35 minutes, Nereo Tohias made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. TALLERES's Ubaldo Ciceron tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Nereo Tohias notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of TALLERES's Ubaldo Ciceron. Ubaldo Ciceron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ubaldo Ciceron came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Los Andes's Nereo Tohias. But to his dismay, Nereo Tohias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Teodosio Guillen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ubaldo Ciceron came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodosio Guillen slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gilberto Munio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Ciceron. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Tohias in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Ciceron saved TALLERES from getting behind. If Nereo Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Hegoi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Ciceron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 98 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Los Andes's Nereo Tohias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Ciceron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1.
