In the 18thth minute of the game Gustavo Lucila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Luan Toro's Joaquin Mingo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Walter Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Chorache was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, one of Volvio Moreno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Volvio Moreno. Lino Gerazan charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Gerazan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Lino Gerazan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tobias Batista, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Gerazan to make the kick off. Ringo Bonavena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 55 minutes, Domingo Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Luan Toro and the Volvio Moreno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Valiente. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ringo Bonavena in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Batista saved Volvio Moreno from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Ringo Bonavena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Prudencio Polentzi replaced Dionisio Diaz. 66 minutes into the game, Sportivo Luan Toro's Ringo Bonavena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Volvio Moreno's Tobias Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ringo Bonavena in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Volvio Moreno booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Luan Toro's Joel Rumaldo was substituted for Lino Gerazan. Lino Gerazan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tobias Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ringo Bonavena went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Tobias Batista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ringo Bonavena's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the game, Albino Maties was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Luan Toro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volvio Moreno the free kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Volvio Moreno had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
