The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bartolo Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Iaki in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Iaki in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Chepe saved Stronghold S.A from getting behind. After 9 played minutes Stronghold S.A got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Bihar. Cleto Iaki took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Chepe. Bartolo Chepe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anastasio Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Aurre in the 16th minute of play. Anastasio Mikeldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Aurre in the 16th minute of the match. Bartolo Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Iaki in the 18th minute of play. Pan FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Americo Rubio in the 19th minute. Pan FC's Americo Rubio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartolo Chepe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tadeo Telmo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Bartolo Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Iaki in the 30th minute of play. Bartolo Chepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Mikeldi made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Octavio Txatxu sent off a good shot on target. Baldomiro Mikelar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Americo Rubio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolo Chepe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Tadeo Telmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goalkeeper Bartolo Chepe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Iaki. After a rather tough play, Stronghold S.A's Benigno Chinto got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bartolo Chepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Quintin in the 55th minute of the match. When Elvio Elorri fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stronghold S.A's protests and gave Elvio Elorri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pan FC booed when Stronghold S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Aurre during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Iaki got free with Bartolo Chepe in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pan FC's Baldomero Quintin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Aurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Chepe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Quintin in the 83rd minute. With an all-out effort, Pan FC's Bartolo Chepe threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomero Quintin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Pan FC booed when Stronghold S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stronghold S.A's Bartolo Chepe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Stronghold S.A from getting a goal against them. Nemesio Aresti hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Aurre in the 94th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Mikeldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Stronghold S.A supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pan FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pan FC.
