BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB:s Higinio Gonzales showed great skill when he stopped Fernando Gonzo:s penalty. 27 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Higinio Gonzales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Gonzo. 37 minutes into the game, Elias Pepillo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Oflador FC 2003's Romeo Jatsu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fernando Gonzo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Higinio Gonzales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oflador FC 2003. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Javiero to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Gonzo came free, but Higinio Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
