Paolo Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Joseph in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Alejo Botello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Cugat. Emanuel Joseph struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Paolo Palos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami CF. In the 20th minute, Romeo Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Botello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Gonzo went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Flaco Schiavi made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Baltasar Porfiro. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Abel Cugat took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alejo Botello to make any attempt to save it. After 42 minutes, Abel Cugat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oflador FC 2003 and the Inter Miami CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Oflador FC 2003 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Abel Cugat hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Cugat made a kick off. In the 51st minute Everardo Salvator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Everardo Salvator came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Inter Miami CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Salvator couldn't finish the play. Alejo Botello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Gonzo's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The corner led Oflador FC 2003's Mariano Porfirio to fire away a dangerous shot which Alejo Botello despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Miami CF's Emanuel Joseph slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paolo Palos. That made the score 2-1 after 61 minutes of play. In the 64th minute, Everardo Salvator reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paolo Palos. The goal made the score 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Joseph got free with Paolo Palos in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Oflador FC 2003 got a freekick which was hit by Denis Giro. After having played for 75 minutes, Emanuel Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Joseph was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Jatsu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Everardo Salvator took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Paolo Palos to make any attempt to save it. In the 84th minute, Abel Cugat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oflador FC 2003 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The audience was convinced that Fernando Gonzo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejo Botello was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Flaco Schiavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
