Inter Miami CF's Alejo Botello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Javiero in the 5th minute of play. Higinio Gonzales was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernesto Diaz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ernesto Diaz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Emanuel Joseph got a free kick in the 11th minute. Israel Bertol kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Inter Miami CF's Emanuel Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Javiero in the 19th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Alejo Botello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes in the game Hector Goizeder did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emanuel Joseph. Higinio Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Salvator in the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Ernesto Diaz took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Higinio Gonzales to make any attempt to save it. Godfredo Egoitz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Silvestre Niguel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Niguel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Joseph in the 37th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Higinio Gonzales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Salvator in the 40th minute of play. Higinio Gonzales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Goizeder in the 43rd minute. Higinio Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Juvenal made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the game Severiano Oto made a throw-in which Ernesto Diaz played forward. Higinio Gonzales came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Miami CF's Emanuel Joseph. But to his dismay, Emanuel Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 62ndth minute of the game Emanuel Joseph who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Gonzales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romulo Juvenal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alejo Botello firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB booed when Inter Miami CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Silvestre Niguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Inter Miami CF's Hector Goizeder tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Joseph came free, but Higinio Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rigoberto Orlan hit a great ball. Higinio Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Salvator in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Everardo Salvator ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Gonzales was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter Miami CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
