In the 27th minute, Fulgencio Castulo made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Jerrald. Santa Margarita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vinicio Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Dominix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Teodoro Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Fulgencio Castulo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Jerrald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Uriel Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Castulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After having played for 67 minutes, Leonardo Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolsodios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Palben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bolsodios booed when Santa Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Dominix's late challenge caught a Bolsodios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Dominix helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Santa Margarita getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vinicio Dominix hit a great ball. Bolsodios's Nestor Loramendi was substituted for Paulino Ganix. Baldomero Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Santa Margarita's Uriel Jerrald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Loramendi in the 78th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Bolsodios's Nestor Loramendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Jerrald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Pastor Giraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Salvidor was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Vinicio Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Niceto Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
