In the 19th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Duardo to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Tipi. After 26 played minutes Pablo Bide rounded Dionisia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Maximiliano Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Mark didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Tipi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Pablo Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gastres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Bide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Abecia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Fresco to make the kick off. Lucas Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Tipi in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Haroldo Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Lop got free with Lucas Cesaro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Niceto Tipi got a free kick in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Duardo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Eustacio Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Haroldo Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes, Gastres FC's Marco Endura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximiliano Abecia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gastres FC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisia's Haroldo Mark slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucas Cesaro. That made the score 3-2 after 94 minutes of play.
