In the 7th minute Marcos Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Abel came free, but Isaac Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Jacobo Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Dario Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Ricardo Faron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dogo Argentino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espirillo FC the free kick. 26 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's Dario Vincent sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Miro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raimundo Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Vincent in the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Adan Aritza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espirillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Aritza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Espirillo FC's Everardo Sein got a free kick in the 39th minute. Everardo Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Dario Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Ubarna was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Dogo Argentino's Everardo Endura got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Marcos Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Espirillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Cordairo couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Vladimiro Jordy in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dogo Argentino's Everardo Endura. Dogo Argentino's Raimundo Miro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Dogo Argentino from getting a goal against them. In the 59th match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Dogo Argentino's Moises Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored Espirillo FC's protests and gave Jaime Porfirio a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Porfirio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Porfirio got free with Raimundo Miro in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the game, Leandro Ubarna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Isaac Delfino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute of the match, Marcos Cordairo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raimundo Miro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dogo Argentino's Raimundo Miro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Dogo Argentino from getting a goal against them. If Moises Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
