Celso Oto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvio Vidal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. After 23 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Efraim. Celso Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Cordairo in the 26th minute. Kevin Keegan scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Delfino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arsenio Ferrando's late challenge caught a GUSESI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Ferrando helped the player get up and apologised. 36 minutes into the game, GUSESI's Kevin Keegan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Delfino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 65th minute, Eustaquio Ekhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espirillo FC's Jaime Porfirio was substituted for Adan Aritza. A wasted opportunity for Espirillo FC. 90 minutes into the match, Silvio Vidal notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of GUSESI's Celso Oto. Celso Oto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Vigil. When the referee ended the match the Espirillo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
