The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Herensuge during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Juventud Unida S L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Herensuge didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tiburcio Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Etxeberri having to interfere. If Angelo Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Fernando Eagles's Agustin Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Juventud Unida S L's Jonathan Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Jakobe in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Jakobe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, San Fernando Eagles's Santos Confesor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Prudencio Uxio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Juventud Unida S L booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Clemencin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Juventud Unida S L's Angelo Henrico in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Ixaka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Confesor in the 69th minute. Santos Confesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Juventud Unida S L got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Herensuge. Angelo Henrico hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Juventud Unida S L's Gualterio Oton got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Uxio. San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Henrico in the 81st minute of play. Saul Etxeberri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Henrico went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Juventud Unida S L booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Santos Confesor came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the San Fernando Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Confesor couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Unida S L's zone, Agustin Jakobe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ixaka came out of the goal and Agustin Jakobe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The San Fernando Eagles supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Fernando Eagles would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
