Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Florida Gulf Coast's Matias Eli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matias Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Ourente having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Matias Eli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rafaela FC's German Ourente. German Ourente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Oliviero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Afonso was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute of the match, Leonel Tomi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximino Afonso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maximino Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Tomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. German Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Jerico in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Fabio Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Eli in the 44th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper German Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Jerico took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Ourente. German Ourente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Rafaela FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Florida Gulf Coast were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Tomi to strike the kick off in the second half. German Ourente was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Ciro Corderun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Corderun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. German Ourente came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico. But to his dismay, Fabio Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. If Matias Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Lauren hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Leonel Tomi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Afonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Vito during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Vito to maneuver through the defense. Rafaela FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Flavio Lauren scored to the left of an out of position German Ourente, making the score, 2-6. German Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Eli in the 80th minute of play. Matias Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Eli's late challenge caught a Rafaela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Eli helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Matias Eli. Rafaela FC's German Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lauren in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Ourente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafaela FC's German Ourente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. Florida Gulf Coast's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
