Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rogelio Madeo kicked off to start the match. Leonides Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Madeo in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the PLUMIN defense, Rogelio Madeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Matteo. The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Matteo should have stopped the shot. Rogelio Madeo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Matteo came out and tried to block the shot, but Rogelio Madeo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save PLUMIN from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes, Dionisio Monico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vélez Juniors and the PLUMIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Urtungo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Urtsin saved Vélez Juniors from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Vélez Juniors's Hernan Gonchan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Matteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Enrique Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Cristofol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Serafo to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Matteo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Madeo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. When Mateo Gonzo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Vélez Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Gonzo couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the game, Emilio Serafo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonides Matteo. Emilio Serafo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Cristofol was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, PLUMIN's Francisco Rolado got a free kick in the 58th minute. Sergio Gai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonides Matteo. PLUMIN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonides Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Froilan Urtungo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Enrique Urtsin made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Mateo Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute of the game, Serafino Rio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Gonzo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Hernan Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Serafo in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vélez Juniors defense, Froilan Urtungo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Urtsin. Leonides Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Gai in the 94th minute of the match. If Maximino Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Urtsin was a little too slow when Jorge Cristofol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vélez Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while PLUMIN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
