In the 10th minute, Severo Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Gonsalve in the 12th minute of play forced Gasoleros FC's goalkeeper Donato Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maximino Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GERLIROJO Ψ's protests and gave Maximino Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. Isaias Enekoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaias Enekoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isaias Enekoitz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Severo Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Severo Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot. GERLIROJO Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Vachon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Xacintu scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Eyague, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 minutes of play, GERLIROJO Ψ's Benito Gonsalve made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Eyague was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half GERLIROJO Ψ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Isaac Peruanton made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Oskitz to maneuver through the defense. Severo Vachon took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Eyague. Donato Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Gasoleros FC's Donato Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gasoleros FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Gasoleros FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jeronimo Blasi hit a great ball. When Severo Vachon came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the GERLIROJO Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Vachon couldn't finish the play. After 83 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Lobo. The crowd rose to their feet as Teofilo Maiorga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Eyague. That made the score 0-5 in the 85 minute of play. The supporters of Gasoleros FC booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GERLIROJO Ψ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
