An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Lekubegi in the 69th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Timoteo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Dionisio Urbez got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Marcelo Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guaberto Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guaberto Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
