Nicanor Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Gonsalve, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Uriel Faron charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Faron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Uriel Faron hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ciro Urbasa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gustavo Abadie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CACYFA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Abella in the 26th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Gustavo Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Andres Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CACYFA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Gaueko to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Belasko in the 32nd minute of play. Lisandro Quinton came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gustavo Abadie could save by the left post. Nicanor Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Urbasa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Benito Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gustavo Abadie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Lartaun. After a defensive mix-up in GERLIROJO Ψ's zone, Andres Belasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Abadie came out of the goal and Andres Belasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lisandro Quinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACYFA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Quinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Abadie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when CACYFA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Gonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. GERLIROJO Ψ's Teofilo Maiorga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicanor Errapel but with some difficulty. Gustavo Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Belasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Gaueko hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Severino Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Uriel Faron was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. A collision led to GERLIROJO Ψ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Uriel Faron hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the GERLIROJO Ψ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CACYFA.
