After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Alfonso Montrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Obano. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Obano should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Montrell in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guansa's goalkeeper Timoteo Obano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guansa's Uriel Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Centenario Bohemio getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alfonso Montrell hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Montrell made a kick off. After 58 minutes of play, Guansa's Arturo Tono made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Formerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paulino Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Obano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Estefan during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfonso Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Estefan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Paulino Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dylan Gizzi's late challenge caught a Guansa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dylan Gizzi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Centenario Bohemio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Gizzi to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guansa had played much better football throughout.
