Ambrosio Acosta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Ticho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Almeyra F.C.'s Roman Hernandez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Lluterio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C A U's Victor Lluterio got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Evaristo Jorrin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicasio Gergori skillfully saved the ball. In the 84th minute Augusto Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Ticho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Osoitz. If Victor Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Augusto Ipar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edelmiro Ticho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Almeyra F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
