In the 5th minute, Jimeno Abarca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Bizi in the 12th minute of play forced C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Bonifacio Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Orozcos's goalkeeper Romulo Mikolas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Abarca. 17 minutes into the match, Godofredo Bizi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bonifacio Astigar. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godofredo Bizi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jimeno Abarca sped through Orozcos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romulo Mikolas. 24 minutes into the match, Orozcos's goalkeeper Romulo Mikolas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Quintana. 24 minutes into the match, Laureano Quintana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romulo Mikolas, 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silverio Orlandus was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Orozcos defense, Prospero Cheche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Mikolas. The Orozcos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Mikolas should have stopped the shot. In the 54th minute, Prospero Cheche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. S. D. Pueyrredón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 61st minute Laureano Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orozcos's Romulo Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Cheche in the 66th minute of play. Bonifacio Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Orlandus in the 69th minute of the match. Bonifacio Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Orlandus in the 70th minute. Romulo Mikolas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Remigio Errando shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Orozcos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
