In the 6th minute of the match alvarado got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorenzo Arlo ran over to the corner to take the kick. alvarado's Lorenzo Arlo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Honesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Goizeder having to make a save. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when alvarado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Gorri kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A hard shot by Lorenzo Arlo from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Filiberto Etxeberri's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Eugenio Goizeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Vigil in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Wilfredo Gonchan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Lucio Ourente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Goizeder skillfully saved the ball. Leonides Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Goizeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of alvarado booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Braulio Dominix notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of alvarado's Eugenio Goizeder. Eugenio Goizeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leonides Vigil charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonides Vigil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 56 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Sesuldo came free, but Filiberto Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Jerold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Braulio Dominix got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 63 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Vigil. After a defensive mix-up in Menchu FC's zone, Cristobal Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Etxeberri came out of the goal and Cristobal Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Etxeberri having to interfere. Menchu FC's Jeremias Mincho was substituted for Leonides Vigil. In the 70th minute, Edelmiro Clodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Albino Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. alvarado made a substitution. Eustaquio Vasco replaced Baltasar Segio. Menchu FC's Filiberto Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cresenciano in the 88th minute of play. If Edgard Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Lucio Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Ourente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Goizeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Honesto in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes alvarado got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Charro. Menchu FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
