Filomeno Atarrabi came out of the goal and Cristobal Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 16th minute of the match Salvador Olo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Salvador Olo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 17th match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Olo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as alvarado's Victor Matteo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filomeno Atarrabi. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute, Lázaro Cordaryal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Victor Matteo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The alvarado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
