Leonides Vigil hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Filiberto Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Viator in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind All Boys's goalkeeper Nereo Acevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduardo Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Filiberto Etxeberri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Pacorro's late challenge caught a All Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Pacorro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Dalmacio Pacorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edgard Baldovino came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Menchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Baldovino couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Benino got free with Filiberto Etxeberri in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Illan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Olando to maneuver through the defense. The nice shot from Melquiades Benino in the 42ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Filiberto Etxeberri had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Melquiades Benino took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Etxeberri. Filiberto Etxeberri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melquiades Benino to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgard Baldovino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nereo Acevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 62 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Braulio Dominix made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Acevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! All Boys's Luis Veto was substituted for German Balasi. With a little luck, All Boys's Nereo Acevedo got control of the ball when Edgard Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roque Rivero kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Menchu FC made a substitution. Blas Fonda replaced Silverio Meder. After 76 played minutes, All Boys's Francisco Iztal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in All Boys reached it. Nereo Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Mincho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Blas Fonda hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Francisco Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Veto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Acevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Baldovino in the 88th minute. Filiberto Etxeberri came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by All Boys's Melquiades Benino. But to his dismay, Melquiades Benino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
