The supporters of Aves Negras booed when TalleresUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Donzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the TalleresUnited defense, Isidro Gomez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Ubelteso. The TalleresUnited fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Ubelteso should have stopped the shot. After 23 played minutes TalleresUnited got a freekick which was hit by Higinio James. TalleresUnited's Higinio James got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Higinio James off the ground. Aves Negras made a substitution. Fausto Berenguer replaced Simon Isidor. In the 28th minute, Higinio James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Torres during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvaldo Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jorge Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TalleresUnited's Jorge Ubelteso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save TalleresUnited from getting a goal against them. The referee gave Aves Negras a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leo Lawrence, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TalleresUnited's Jorge Ubelteso. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Donzel to make the kick off. TalleresUnited's Jorge Ubelteso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gomez in the 54th minute of play. Jorge Ubelteso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TalleresUnited's zone, Isidro Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Ubelteso came out of the goal and Isidro Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jorge Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Leo Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Serafin Pagomari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Ubelteso was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aves Negras had played much better football throughout.
