Evaristo Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Estavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Álvarez defense, Justo Dimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Ibar. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Ibar should have stopped the shot. Hilario Txanton hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Arnoldo Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Huly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jorge Pelayo made a huge save. Club Deportivo Álvarez's Epifanio Silviano got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Huly in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Gabriel Huly dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorge Pelayo, 1-1. After 45 played minutes EL CERVECERO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Patxi.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Raymon to strike the kick off in the second half. Roque Cordarryl's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evaristo Ibar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Justo Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Ibar having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, EL CERVECERO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Estavan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Deportivo Álvarez getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Epifanio Silviano hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Flavio Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Evaristo Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Aquiles Ferrando got a free kick in the 81st minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
