Luisito Aragones charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Aragones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arturo Sengrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Aragones in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hilario Hartz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Aragones got free with Arturo Sengrat in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Rivermania FC's Arturo Sengrat got control of the ball when Luisito Aragones tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justo Dimo to strike the kick off in the second half.
