The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 4 minutes on the clock, Urbano Cordairo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Adrian Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mi querida Fabiola's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Louis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club Real Cantera booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Belmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Club Real Cantera's Aaron Indalecio got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elvio Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Louis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Mi querida Fabiola's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice moves Adrian Louis could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Astor Torres however easily saved by the left post. If Froilan Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Real Cantera's Antonio Ezkerra got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Froilan Havier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Real Cantera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 41 played minutes Mi querida Fabiola got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Mikelar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Havier was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Club Real Cantera's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Louis came free, but Astor Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Louis went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Efrain Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Havier in the 59th minute of play. Club Real Cantera's Froilan Havier got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Froilan Havier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Adrian Louis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Club Real Cantera's Astor Torres. Astor Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the game, Everardo Lamberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Real Cantera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mi querida Fabiola the free kick. Cristobal Osoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Mi querida Fabiola's Efrain Tabby got control of the ball when Froilan Havier tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Club Real Cantera booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Tabby having to interfere. Efrain Tabby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Real Cantera's Froilan Havier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Tabby. That made the score 2-3 after 94 minutes of play.
