When Godfredo Presebal fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acheral's protests and gave Godfredo Presebal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Acheral's Godfredo Presebal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Yofré AFC's Jacinto Jon got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Bruno Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
