The wind increased when Matias Boniel made the kick off in the second half. Characate FC's Joel Fonda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natalio Intxixu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, Gaspar Gora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natalio Intxixu. Locura Académica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Gora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Venancio Pacorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Intxixu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Pacorro ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 61 minutes, Gaspar Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Marin was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Nicasio Gabirel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicasio Gabirel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Jonas Argider's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damian Marin firmly grabbed it by the left post. But to his dismay, Joel Fonda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The supporters of Locura Académica booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Marciano Eufrasio put in a rough tackle. Nicasio Gabirel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Damian Marin made a huge save.
