After a defensive mix-up in Jabones Tocadores's zone, Vladimiro Beliran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Vermudo came out of the goal and Vladimiro Beliran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PINGO PINGO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Tomás Papo scored to the left of an out of position Leonel Claris, making the score, 1-0. Tomás Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Jabones Tocadores defense, Mário Kempe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Vermudo. The Jabones Tocadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Vermudo should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Manilan during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ismael Manilan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Danilo Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Gustau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Urtsua scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Claris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Papo during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Jabones Tocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Papo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Goyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Leonel Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ricardo Galsino fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jabones Tocadores's protests and gave Ricardo Galsino a yellow card for diving instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
