Leonel Claris made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Modesto Marino sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Piearres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vipos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PINGO PINGO the free kick. Rodolfo Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Chago made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Rodolfo Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vipos FC's Fernando Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Beliran in the 51st minute of play. Mário Kempe charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Kempe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Manilan in the 67th minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Fernando Cisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Cisco having to interfere. A collision led to Vipos FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Melchor Txindoki hit a great ball. Fernando Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Dominguez in the 94th minute of play. PINGO PINGO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
