When RIVER's Anselmo Esdras in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metapalo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Narciso Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Feliberto Sadurni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIVER and the Metapalo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Milio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Elizardo came free, but Narciso Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Metapalo FC's Rodrigo Dacio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Jerrald was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Elizardo in the 28th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, RIVER's Nicasio Mendebal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Silban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gerardo Ixaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Silban having to interfere.

Nicasio Mendebal in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melquiades Silban, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Narciso Jerrald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Dacio in the 57th minute of play. Narciso Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Jerrald came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Metapalo FC's Rodrigo Dacio. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Dacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Garcia in the 69th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Anselmo Esdras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metapalo FC the free kick. Anselmo Esdras hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Feliberto Sadurni got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Feliberto Sadurni got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Segundo Roland got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rodrigo Dacio. When the referee ended the match the Metapalo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
