Jonatan Felipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Enzo Regis made a huge save. Raimundo Kelemen hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Joaquin Fonso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enzo Regis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Celso Oroitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Justin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Artemio Banegas made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gallardo y Biscay FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jonas Aritza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Aritza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th match minute, Gallardo y Biscay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Vidal to maneuver through the defense. The Gallardo y Biscay FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
