Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 107, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnulfo Goito got the match started through his kick off. Anselmo Esdras took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Hunfredo. Jimeno Hunfredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tristán Suárez FC's Jimeno Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Esdras in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Mendebal in the 19th minute of play forced Tristán Suárez FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Ixaka in the 20th minute of play. Tristán Suárez FC's Isaac Gorka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristian Jerardo in the 25 minute of the game. After 26 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Milio. Tristán Suárez FC's Jimeno Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Ixaka in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Tristán Suárez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Mendebal came free, but Jimeno Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Ixaka took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Hunfredo. Jimeno Hunfredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 34 minutes into the game, Gerardo Ixaka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jimeno Hunfredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes, Tomás Satordi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tristán Suárez FC and the RIVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tristán Suárez FC's Tomás Satordi got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Anselmo Esdras notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Tristán Suárez FC's Jimeno Hunfredo. Jimeno Hunfredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Ixaka during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerardo Ixaka kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Goito in the 46th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Hunfredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Jerardo went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score.

Jimeno Hunfredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anselmo Esdras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 54 minute of play. In the 58th minute Gerardo Ixaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Hunfredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Tristán Suárez FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Hunfredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Mendebal. Jimeno Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Ixaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Goito hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Ixaka in the 65th minute of play forced Tristán Suárez FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Higinio Nofre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Hunfredo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 79 minutes in the game, Higinio Nofre fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jimeno Hunfredo having to interfere. Jimeno Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Esdras in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Anselmo Esdras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimeno Hunfredo. Anselmo Esdras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. 93 minutes into the match, Higinio Nofre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimeno Hunfredo. Tristán Suárez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Nofre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-11. Tristán Suárez FC's Jimeno Hunfredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Tristán Suárez FC from getting a goal against them. RIVER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
