After 7 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Gartzen. After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Ezequiel Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Cebo came out of the goal and Ezequiel Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Insúa took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelino Barto. Angelino Barto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Guaberto Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Serapio in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Nuñez in the 23rd minute of play forced Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Angelino Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Nuñez in the 25th minute of the match. Exequiel Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Robustiano Clementi scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Barto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Pinto in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Cebo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Cementerio Club's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Nuñez came free, but Angelino Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Robustiano Clementi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the Cementerio Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Robustiano Clementi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Pinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Guaberto Cebo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Pinto made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Federico Insúa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Guaberto Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Serapio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Pinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Cebo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Cementerio Club defense, Federico Insúa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Barto. The Cementerio Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Barto should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Pinto in the 68th minute of play.
