Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ildefonso Ortle kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Luke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Paskal's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Eusebio Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Salmuera CP's Eusebio Paskal in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gaviotas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Samuel Gorbea made a great header on Salmuera CP's corner, it was just that Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25thth minute of the game Anibal Fidencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godfredo Quinteros scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carmelo Nikola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Sebastian Gimenez's late challenge caught a Salmuera CP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Gimenez helped the player get up and apologised.

The wind increased when Eusebio Paskal made the kick off in the second half. Ildefonso Ortle took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Nikola. Carmelo Nikola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviotas FC's zone, Eusebio Paskal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Luke came out of the goal and Eusebio Paskal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Damian Rufo replaced Fabricio Jakobe. Carmelo Nikola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Quinteros in the 66th minute of the match. Anibal Fidencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaviotas FC's Santiago Oliverio was substituted for Anastasio Arce. Sebastian Gimenez hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Samuel Gorbea, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Salmuera CP getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Santos Neron hit a great ball. When Gaviotas FC's Ildefonso Ortle in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salmuera CP's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Gaviotas FC's Rodolfo Ursino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmelo Nikola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gaviotas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
