In the 28thth minute of the game Alejo Serapio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Gavino Luke managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Cementerio Club's Fidel Rico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Serapio in the 41st minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Gavino Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Fidel Rico could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Gavino Luke however easily saved by the left post. Fidel Rico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Gavino Luke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Domingo Quinto got a free kick in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Rico was the one to do the kick off. Cementerio Club's Angelino Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Fidel Rico made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Luke. Gaviotas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 65 minutes, Domingo Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Quinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Santiago Oliverio replaced Anastasio Arce. Angelino Barto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ildefonso Ortle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 72 minute of play. Isidro Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Anibal Montae kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gaviotas FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cementerio Club had won, even though Gaviotas FC had held more of the ball.
