The referee ignored Pucará's protests and gave Inocencio Arotza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pucará's Inocencio Arotza got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tobias Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Abascal in the 7th minute of play. Maximo Izel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Tobias Iraitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Marcelino Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pucará's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berni y Benja FC the free kick. Ariel López fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Medina having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastián Blanco during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastián Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Tobias Iraitz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Godofredo Txema. After some careless play in the Pucará defense, Maximo Izel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Iraitz. The Pucará fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Iraitz should have stopped the shot. Artemio Abascal struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tobias Iraitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berni y Benja FC. Pucará's Ariel López got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pucará's Tobias Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Pucará from getting a goal against them. In the 40th match minute, Berni y Benja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Txema to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Maximo Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berni y Benja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Marcelino Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berni y Benja FC's Celestino Medina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel López stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Pucará got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Abreu. Artemio Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Iraitz having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Pucará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Izel scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Iraitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Maximo Izel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Iraitz was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Tobias Iraitz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Berni y Benja FC's Maximo Izel. But to his dismay, Maximo Izel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 72nd match minute, Pucará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Artemio Abascal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Iraitz was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With a little luck, Berni y Benja FC's Celestino Medina got control of the ball when Arnaldo Txaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ariel López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berni y Benja FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
