Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Izel in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Ruisko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Artemio Abascal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Beltrán City FC's Fulgencio Ruisko. Fulgencio Ruisko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 played minutes Beltrán City FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Larpe. 19 minutes into the match, Beltrán City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Txema came free, but Fulgencio Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beltrán City FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Godofredo Txema was slow to take the kick. During this time Berni y Benja FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Beltrán City FC booed when Berni y Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Matteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Columbo in the 38th minute of play forced Berni y Benja FC's goalkeeper Celestino Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fulgencio Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Artemio Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Genaro Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beltrán City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Raymundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beltrán City FC's Fulgencio Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Abascal in the 53rd minute of play. Victoriano Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Medina having to interfere. Godofredo Txema struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fulgencio Ruisko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berni y Benja FC. Maximo Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fulgencio Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Izels short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Fulgencio Ruisko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Berni y Benja FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
