Martin Erramu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Mikeldi to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Gonzalo Mambru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romulo Hever came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INDEPENDIENTE F.C. reached it. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s zone, Benicio Quexal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Abella came out of the goal and Benicio Quexal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's Silvestre Dimas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Abella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Benicio Quexal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Mambru notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cavallino Rampante II's Romulo Hever. Romulo Hever was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benicio Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Silvestre Dimas fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Erramu was the one to do the kick off.
