With his leg Anacleto Hulberto managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Los Irrompibles's Gavino Cefero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Justino Inko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Bernabel went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Claudio Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Inko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Hector Gonza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Inko. Los Irrompibles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Gonza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The wind increased when Gavino Cefero made the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Hulberto having to interfere. Los Irrompibles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Claudio Bernabel scored to the left of an out of position Justino Inko, making the score, 0-3. After 64 played minutes Imperio Académico got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Frasquito. 69 minutes into the game, Baltasar Gustau threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Irrompibles's Benito Sabino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hector Gonza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute of the match Baltasar Gustau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Inko skillfully saved the ball. Adan Haritz got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Imperio Académico booed when Los Irrompibles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Bernabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Benito Sabino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperio Académico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
