In the 10th minute Melquiades Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Amor came free, but Arnaldo Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Calvino in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Jacinto Gauargi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Lehior was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Demesio in the 17th minute of play forced Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Arnaldo Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Amor in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Melquiades Amor got a free kick in the 30th minute. Arnaldo Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Florian, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cristian Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lehior having to interfere. Arnaldo Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Demesio in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Florian came free, but Arnaldo Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Jeremias Mon fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sαηgrε Azuɭ's protests and gave Jeremias Mon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Sarandi booed when Sαηgrε Azuɭ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Mon didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
