The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Gauargi got free with Faustino Fertus in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Faustino Fertus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Amor. In the 9th minute, Arsenio Erico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Braulio Indar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Fertus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Nicanor Florian got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Venancio Odol hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Braulio Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Florian to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Fertus made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Braulio Indar sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Amor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Fertus was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Faustino Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Amor in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Lino Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Mincho during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Candido Mincho kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Anselmo Qwinton got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Florian in the 36th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Faustino Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Odol hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Braulio Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Nicanor Florian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Fertus. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Florian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Faustino Fertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Florian in the 45th minute of the match. Jacinto Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Florian to make the kick off. Lino Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Fertus came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Nicanor Florian. But to his dismay, Nicanor Florian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 56 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Demesio came free, but Faustino Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Gauargi charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Gauargi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Gauargi. In the 61st minute, Nicanor Florian made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Fertus. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Amor came free, but Faustino Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Nicanor Florian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Faustino Fertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute of the match San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a corner. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Ritchie ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 73 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Cesar Ritchie made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Fertus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 77 minutes, Cesar Ritchie made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Faustino Fertus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Demesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Faustino Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Ritchie in the 88th minute of play. Faustino Fertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Ritchie in the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that San Lorenzo de Sarandi were the better team. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
