Villa Ballester FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Cordera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to SAN MARTIN F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mauro Ordono hit a great ball. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Clementi in the 13th minute of play. Edgardo Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Angel Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The long shot by Alejandro Mendebal in the 17th minute really tested Edgardo Librado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Manuel Cordera came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgardo Librado could save by the left post. After 21 minutes Villa Ballester FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejandro Mendebal who took care of the corner kick. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Alejandro Mendebal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgardo Librado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edgardo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Cordera in the 26th minute of the match. Manuel Cordera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edgardo Librado firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Villa Ballester FC's Edgardo Librado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Ballester FC from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Librado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Cordera in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Villa Ballester FC's Froilan Lehoi got a free kick in the 44th minute. Simon Canor struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Edgardo Librado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN MARTIN F.C.. 47 minutes into the game, one of Villa Ballester FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Simon Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Rafe hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for SAN MARTIN F.C.. Alejandro Mendebal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edgardo Librado. 3-1. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Clementi in the 88th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Manuel Cordera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Librado. Alejandro Mendebal shot a long shot in the 100th minute and a light blocked Edgardo Librado hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 5-1. When the referee ended the match the SAN MARTIN F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
