Adolfo Toro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteve Florinio came out and tried to block the shot, but Adolfo Toro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Gonzalo Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Esteve Florinio made a huge save. Teodoro Inko's late challenge caught a CanarioMza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Inko helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Chivos got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Inko. 16 minutes into the match, Chivos's goalkeeper Esteve Florinio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Toro. Esteve Florinio came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by CanarioMza's Gonzalo Ponce. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Silvano Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Garin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Chivos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Ponce got free with Esteve Florinio in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, CanarioMza's Adolfo Toro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esteve Florinio. Esteve Florinio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 34 minutes into the game, Ulises Garin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CanarioMza the free kick. In the 34th minute, Ulises Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CanarioMza's Silvano Perico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Garin in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Llorienzo in the 46th minute of play forced CanarioMza's goalkeeper Silvano Perico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elias Llorienzo made the kick off in the second half. Edgard Ebardo charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Ebardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgard Ebardo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chivos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Edgard Ebardo hit a great ball. Edgard Ebardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. A collision led to CanarioMza getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Roque Salvatore hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CanarioMza! Ulises Garin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Perico having to make a save. In the 82ndth minute of the game Edgard Ebardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CanarioMza's Silvano Perico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvano Perico made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Arnulfo Gaztea sent off a good shot on target. Ulises Garin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Silvano Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chivos booed when CanarioMza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Silvano Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Salvatore kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Silvano Perico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Ebardo in the 91st minute of play. Teodoro Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Toro in the 96th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Esteve Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Ereinotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Silvano Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
