Hermengildo Arotza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Lidon came free, but Hermengildo Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Joystick XXXV's Benigno Abancens got control of the ball when Hipolito Elequemedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Arotza having to interfere. Hermengildo Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Lidon in the 48th minute of the match. The Academia Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Joystick XXXV were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Elequemedo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Albino Rayman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joystick XXXV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Club the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Joystick XXXV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Rayman to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Albino Rayman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hermengildo Arotza. The goal made the score 0-3.
