The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Matias Gauargi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Ebardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Donostia in the 8th minute of play forced ROJO's goalkeeper Anacleto Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Gauargi made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Denis Ebardo sent off a good shot on target. When Narciso Pudes fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desfachatados F.C.'s protests and gave Narciso Pudes a yellow card for diving instead. Narciso Pudes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Uriel Peru hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Palben during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Desfachatados F.C. booed when ROJO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Palben didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Uriel Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ROJO booed when Desfachatados F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desfachatados F.C.'s Matias Gauargi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Desfachatados F.C. from getting a goal against them. Melquiades Ritchie took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Honrio. Anacleto Honrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute, ROJO's Edelmiro Dolfos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Melquiades Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ROJO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Desfachatados F.C. were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Oro to make the kick off. Denis Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Matias Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Francis during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 79 minutes into the match, Uriel Oro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Honrio, 1-4. Celedonio Perutxo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, ROJO's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Oro came free, but Anacleto Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ROJO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Desfachatados F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
