After a rather tough play, MARTINETA's Bernardino Niva got a free kick in the 28th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Goi during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Atletic Club Araucaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, MARTINETA's Lázaro Precioso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Presebal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bernardino Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Presebal having to interfere. Teofilo Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Precioso in the 37th minute of play. Bernardino Niva took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Presebal. Teofilo Presebal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Milio in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Bertin saved MARTINETA from getting behind. After 54 minutes, Adrian Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARTINETA and the Atletic Club Araucaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Dalmau hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Amancio Birila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Silvestre Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Atletic Club Araucaria's Teofilo Presebal got control of the ball when Isaias Henrico tried to sneak it across the goal line. MARTINETA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
