After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Sebastian Bernal got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 13th minute, Carmelo Conrao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Solustiano hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jonas Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Astor Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Seme having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Leandro Jenaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Mitre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islas FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Leandro Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Seme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when Islas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 42 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bernal. Sergio Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Casomiro to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Joey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Islas FC's zone, Jonas Beltxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Seme came out of the goal and Jonas Beltxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. Clemente Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ernesto Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Casomiro's late challenge caught a Villa Mitre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Casomiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when Islas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Seme came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Mitre's Augusto Gaitan. But to his dismay, Augusto Gaitan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ernesto Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Shepherd in the 80th minute of play. Augusto Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ernesto Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Bernal during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Islas FC's Ermegildo Joey got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roman Montez.
